  	On Saturday evening, May 31, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gambrill, of Dederang, entertained about 40 young people at their home, "Trentwood," in honor of the-coming-of-age of their son, Neal. The spacious dining room, where games and competitions were enjoyed, was decorated with gay streamers and balloons. Bowls in the lounge were arranged with autumn flowers and delicate ferns. At supper, Mr. J. F. Turner expressed congratulations and best wishes of those present to which the guest of honor responded. An uncommon, feature of the birthday cake, which was made and decorated by Mrs. Wilfred Hartwig, was the artistic placing of 21 horseshoes. Guests were present from Albury, Wodonga, Pleasant Hills, Tawonga, Kancoona, Gundowring and Dederang.
