- Mrs. Bertha May Lucy Minch. The death took place at Brentwood Hospital on 3rd February of Mrs. Bertha May Lucy Minch, wife of Mr.Peter Minch, of William Street at the age of 59 Years. The late Mrs. Minch, who had been in indifferent health for sometime, passed away after a brief illness. She was admitted to the institution on the 30th January. the late Mrs.Minch was born at Singleton and was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Owens, who resided at Singleton. (The) Deceased, who had resided here for the past 38 years is survived by her husband, four sons, Cecil (Sydney), Rex (Newcastle) and Stan (Muswellbrook), one sister Mrs.C.Robson of Singleton, and a brother (Jack), of Victoria also survived her. The funeral left deceased's late residence on Saturday for interment in the Muswellbrook Catholic Cemetery, the Rev. Father officiating at the church and the graveside.
