KEVIN DIXON'S DEATH. Father's Fortitude. "I admire your fortitude and your honesty," the Parramatta District coroner (Mr. Richardson Clark) told Patrick Dixon, of Cabramatta, as the conclusion of an inquiry into the death of Dixon's son, Kevin James Dixon, seven, who was killed at Cabramatta by a car on August 9. The father stated that he was quite satisfied that William James Gambrill, the driver of the car which knocked the boy down, was not to blame. The Coroner, in returning a verdict of accidental death, said that it was pleasing to meet a man who, although he had suffered great grief, did not try to throw blame on the driver of the car. |
