  	Newspaper Report: John Blundell was charged with committing an offense upon his daughter. Senior sergeant Cornett addressed the Bench narrating the circumstances of the case. L.G. Clifford, sworn : I am a constable in charge of the Gininderra police station; in company with Constable Goodhew I went to prisoner's residence at Condor, near Uriarra, and I arrested him; I read the warrant to him; accused said, "I don't understand it;" he said, "I am innocent;" I brought the prisoner to Queanbeyan and lodged him in the gaol. Senior Sergeant Cornett applied for a remand for a week. His Worship: "I remand the accused to Monday next, and if the Police Magistrate neglects his duties some one must do it'- Queanbeyan Times.

  	FUNERAL NOTICE. The Friends of MR. Geo. PORTORS and Family, of Eden Vale, Oberne Creek, are respectfully invited to attend this the Funeral of his late Beloved wife and their Mother (Mary Ann), to move from the Wagga District Hospital THIS DAY, at 3pm. [8] The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Ann Portors, wife of Mr. George Portors, of Eden Vale, Westbrook, Oberne Creek, took place this Saturday afternoon last, leaving the Wagga District Hospital. A number of relatives and friends of the deceased from Sydney, Wyalong and Westbrook, were present. The pall-bearers were Messrs Alexander Portors (son), Samuel Portors (stepson), of Westbrook, and E.H.Hedditch and Sydney Breasley. The interment was made in the Church of England portion of the Wagga Cemetery. The Rev.C.A. Hulley officiated at the grave-side. [9]
