A benefit social in aid of Mr. Fred Gambrill was held in the Albert Hall, Granville, on Friday evening, and was well patronized by local dancers. The social was promoted by a number of Mr.Gambrill's friends, who sympathized with him in the long illness he has just gone through. The hall was comfortably filled with dancers and an enjoyable time was spent. The music was supplied by Messrs. Grace and Willisford, and the duties of M.C were satisfactorily discharged by Messrs. F. McIntyre and W.Simpson. |
